Working with clients that are undocumented and their families can be challenging yet rewarding. However many therapists are at a loss for how to work with or assist these clients and their families. This training hopes to change that. Over the course of two hours, this training will cover common myths regarding immigration and undocumented immigrants, common terminology used in the immigration system, a basic overview of the immigration system, how to provide culturally competent care to undocumented clients and their families as well as local and online resources for clients and their families.
