Serenity High
Serenity High is one of America’s longest-tenured recovery high schools. It opened October 11, 1999. It is a part of the McKinney Independent School District. Serenity High exists for adolescents returning from recognized substance abuse treatment centers who are committed to obtaining a high school diploma in a safe and supportive, chemical-free environment.
The following school districts partner with McKinney ISD so that their students may attend Serenity High. These districts have agreed to tuition agreements with McKinney ISD for the per-day enrollment tuition fees.
Allen ISD, Anna ISD, Blue Ridge ISD, Celina ISD, Community ISD, Frisco ISD, Lewisville ISD, Melissa ISD, Pilot Point ISD, Plano ISD, Prosper ISD, Tioga ISD and Wylie ISD.
