Specialized Support Services


In response to the overwhelming need for help and support during these difficult times, CFGC is proud to announce the expansion of the Family Empowerment Program with new Specialized Support Services, led by a skilled Master's-level team dedicated to assessing needs and helping people find the service that is best suited for them.

The goal of these services is to provide FREE psychoeducational support, resources, and coping skills within support groups or an individual setting. These services are open to ages 13 and up and you do not have to have a child in care to qualify. Registration form is below. The Support Specialist team will provide the following FREE virtual services:

 

Anxiety Support Group: Thursdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm

An online, weekly support group open to adults with anxiety symptoms. You will receive peer support as well as coping skills.

 

Parent Support Group: Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm

An online, weekly support group open to caregivers experiencing stress related to raising children and/or teens. You will receive peer support as well as specific education and skills. Please note: There is no certificate of completion for group attendance - if you are seeking the Online Parent Empowerment Class that provides a certificate of completion, please click here

 

Teen Support Group: Thursdays, 4:30pm-5:30pm

An online, weekly support group open to ages 13-17. You will receive peer support, positive socialization as well as specific education and coping skills.
